NAPA, CA — UPDATE: Following a car crash Monday afternoon in Napa that prompted the closure of Jefferson Street near Central Avenue, Napa police say the roadway has been reopened. The road was open as of 3:45 p.m., around an hour after police sent a Nixle alert about the crash that also involved some downed power lines.

The Napa Police Department sent a Nixle alert at 2:45 p.m. directing motorists to avoid the area of Jefferson and Central Avenue because of the wreck.
