Napa Traffic Alert: Crash, Downed Power Lines Close Jefferson St.

NAPA, CA — UPDATE: Following a car crash Monday afternoon in Napa that prompted the closure of Jefferson Street near Central Avenue, Napa police say the roadway has been reopened. The road was open as of 3:45 p.m., around an hour after police sent a Nixle alert about the crash that also involved some downed power lines.

ORIGINAL POST: Napa police called for the closure Monday afternoon of a section of Jefferson Street because of a car crash and downed power lines.

The Napa Police Department sent a Nixle alert at 2:45 p.m. directing motorists to avoid the area of Jefferson and Central Avenue because of the wreck.

Avoid Jefferson between Pueblo and Lincoln avenues, where the road is closed, police said.
