Napa Valley Wineries 'Open The Cellar" For Sales During Pandemic
The coronavirus pandemic has closed tap rooms across Napa Valley, so one trade group has pivoted to exclusive online sales.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — The coronavirus pandemic has closed tasting rooms across Napa Valley, so one trade organization has pivoted to selling wineries' exclusive drinks online.
The Napa Valley Vintners is a nonprofit trade organization whose 550 members have been hit hard by public safety measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus. But they've "opened the cellar" for the second time for limited online sales events to help support member vineyards.
"From the comfort of your home, shop the below offerings that are normally sold only at the winery," the organization said online. "The sale of these wines will help employees and small family businesses of Napa Valley as our tasting rooms remain closed."
