Napa Woman, Suisun City Man Arrested For Alleged Southern California Murder
A Napa woman who apparently felt she'd been insulted at a southern California party has been arrested for murder.

GLENDALE, CA - A Napa woman who apparently felt she'd been insulted at a southern California party by a man she'd met hours earlier has been arrested - along with two accomplices - on suspicion of murdering the man as he left the party.
According to the Glendale police, on Friday night, the victim, identified as 25-year-old Phillip Niles Jr., was out with friends in Los Angeles, where he met 18-year-old Napa resident Dezerea Lyons and a female friend.
Eventually, the group moved the party to a Glendale apartment.

Glendale detectives believe at some point during the night Dezerea Lyons felt insulted by comments made by Niles, a recent Florida transplant, and made calls to two other men, identified as 24-year-old Suisun City resident Laquan Parker and 26-year-old Brandon Perkins, a Stockton resident, from the party.
Police say Lyons had made several threats to Niles during the party.

Later that evening, police say when Niles walked Lyons and her female friend outside, Parker and Perkins were waiting to confront the victim.
Glendale police say the two male suspects shot Niles multiple times.
According to police, Niles ran a short distance and collapsed on the front lawn of a residence.
Dezerea Lyons, Laquan Parker and Brandon Perkins are each being held on suspicion of murder in lieu of $2-million bail.
