Newcomer Wins Napa Valley Marathon
A newcomer to marathons won the men's division of the 2017 Napa Valley Marathon, while an Orlando, Fla. woman won the women's division.

NAPA VALLEY, CA -- A newcomer to marathons won the men's division of the Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon on Sunday morning, while an Orlando woman won the women's division, race officials said.
San Carlos resident Benjamin Heck, 24, took the men's title on Sunday, March 5, with a time of 2 hours, 29 minutes, 11 seconds. Orlando woman Erica Weitz, 28, claimed the women's title with a time of 2:48:48.
The Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon was only the second marathon Hack has run, according to race officials.
