Overturned Semi Blocks Howell Mountain Road In Napa County: CHP
The roadway was blocked overnight in the Angwin area, the California Highway Patrol reported.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — Howell Mountain Road remained closed overnight in the Angwin area because of an overturned semi truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rollover crash involving a "fully loaded" big rig was reported at 11:11 p.m. Sunday south of Pope Valley, near White Cottage Road North, the CHP said.
The truck driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries as the semi landed down an embankment; both were taken to a local hospital for treatment, the CHP said.

The crash left the northbound lane of Howell Mountain Road blocked.
Monday morning, CHP advised motorists to use Ink Grade Road as an alternate route because the roadway was still blocked.

Around 9:15 a.m., though, CHP dispatchers reported that the road closure could be lifted within 45 minutes.
