PHOTOS: Business Is Blooming At Napa Farmers Market

The market is open now two days a week in the city of Napa public parking lot at 1100 West St. in Downtown Napa.

NAPA, CA — It is springtime and that means the Napa Farmers Market is now open twice a week. The market operates Saturdays year-round, and from April to December, it is also open Tuesdays.

The Napa Farmers Market is open 8 a.m.-noon, rain or shine, in the City of Napa public parking lot at 1100 West St. in Downtown Napa. The customer entrance is at the corner of Pearl and Yajome streets, and face masks — or shields — are currently required while in line for and inside the market.

The market, which is an essential business and remained open during the coronavirus pandemic, is enforcing COVID-19 health orders until further notice. In order to protect against the spread of the virus, only farmers, specialty food (to-go and grocery items) and limited artisan vendors are permitted at the market.

Further, no eating or drinking is allowed inside the market and food sampling has been suspended. There is increased space between vendor booths, the number of customers inside the market at one time is limited, and one person per household should shop at the market.

Local photographer Al Francis visited the market Saturday and reported business was "blooming." Enjoy his photo gallery above!
