Power Outage In Calistoga Prompts City To Open Cooling Center
A tree fell into power lines, causing an outage.
CALISTOGA, CA — A cooling center has been opened in Calistoga for Rancho De near the Mount St. Helena Golf Course and surrounding area residents due to an extended power outage caused by a tree that fell into power lines.
The temperature at 5 p.m. was 93 degrees and the city said it had been told by PG&E that power restoration is not expected until midnight.
