Snoop Dogg Sips Way To World Record; More BottleRock Photos

PHOTOS: From Billy Idol to glampgrounds and Snoop Dogg's record-setting "Gin and Juice," cocktail, here's day two of BottleRock Napa Valley.

NAPA, CA — To the delight of tens of thousands of fans — many "glamping" nearby — the sun came out for day two of BottleRock Napa Valley music and food festival as did the folks with "Guinness Book of World's Records." On the Williams Sonoma culinary stage, Snoop Dogg, with the assistance of friends Warren G and chef Michael Voltaggio, sipped his way to a Guinness World Record for the largest cocktail. In a huge nod to the 1990s hit song “Gin and Juice” for which Snoop Dogg remains famous, fans cheered as the gigantic beverage was concocted with orange juice, then spiked with bottles of gin before being topped with a giant umbrella and super-size straw.

In true Napa Valley wine country style, many attending the Memorial Day weekend festival at Napa Valley Expo have been camping — or "glamping" — at CampCarneros not far from the fairgrounds. Rows upons rows of tents — and in some cases $100,000-plus motorhomes — lined Skyline Wilderness Park in South Napa, serving as lodging accommodations for some 2,000 BottleRock fans. According to campground manager Travis Blessoe, there was hot water for showers, an area for doing hair and makeup and 25 gallons of Starbucks coffee served daily.

Sunday, headliner Bruno Mars was set to perform as the sun goes down on the final day of the sixth vintage of the popular festival.
