These Napa County Companies Got The Biggest PPP Loans

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Hundreds of Napa County companies were among the 87,000 California businesses and nonprofits that received loans from the federal Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP, to help pay their employees during the coronavirus pandemic, according to data released this week.

The loans, which varied in amount, were established as part of the federal government's CARES Act and are forgiven as long as businesses keep employees on their payroll, without cutting pay.
On Monday, the U.S. Small Business Administration released data showing that nearly 5 million businesses have received PPP loans of more than $150,000 — totaling more than $521 billion. The U.S. Treasury says the money has supported 51.1 million jobs.

In California, more than 4.1 million jobs have been retained thanks to loans of greater than $150,000, according to the SBA. They went to a variety of organizations, from small restaurants to large companies with hundreds of employees.

These 23 Napa County businesses and nonprofits receiving between $2 million and $5 million, included:

• PACIFIC UNION COLLEGE, Angwin (retained 284 jobs)
• SOLAGE OWNERS LLC, Calistoga (retained 202 jobs)
• ATLAS VINEYARD MANAGEMENT, INC., Napa
• BAYVIEW VINEYARDS CORPORATION, Napa (retained 240 jobs)
• BHM CONSTRUCTION, INC, Napa, (retained 30 jobs)
• CELLO & MAUDRU CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., Napa (retained 100 jobs)
• CENTRAL VALLEY BUILDERS SUPPLY, Napa (retained 242 jobs)
• CRIMSON WINE GROUP, Napa (retained 315 jobs)
• GF CARNEROS HOLDINGS LLC, Napa (retained 215 jobs)
• NAPA RECYCLING & WASTE SERVICES, LLC, Napa (retained 140 jobs)
• NEW PINA VINEYARD MANAGEMENT, LLC, Napa (retained 198 jobs)
• OLE HEALTH, Napa (retained 270 jobs)
• PECK & HILLER COMPANY, Napa (retained 165 jobs)
• REGUSCI VINEYARD MANAGEMENT, INC., Napa (retained 250 jobs)
• RENTERIA VINEYARD MANAGEMENT, LLC, Napa (retained 339 jobs)
• SHEEHAN CONSTRUCTION, INC., Napa (retained 313 jobs)
• SILVERADO FARMING COMPANY, INC., Napa (retained 202 jobs)
• SILVERADO RESORT SERVICES GROUP, LLC, Napa (retained 483 jobs)
• THE HESS COLLECTION WINERY, Napa (retained 132 jobs)
• COPPER CANE LLC, St. Helena, (retained 101 jobs)
• JACK NEAL & SON, INC., St. Helena (retained 272 jobs)
• FRENCH LAUNDRY PARTNERS LP, Yountville (retained 163 jobs)
