It's an amazing restaurant with very generous owners! The owners and staff are outstanding! The food is very good and the location is great. They are very thoughtful to locals also. Everyone is extremely friendly, they greet us every time we dine there and the staff is helpful with the menu too."

From the nominator: "This was a very challenging year. We shut down for 3 weeks due to COVID during Spring, our busiest time. Our bosses still paid us. When we reopened, with COVID measures in place, the response was phenomenal. With everyone home this year, everyone gardened. For months on end our small staff dealt with full parking lots, an enormous amount of holding items due to limited availability, curbside pickup, shopping, etc. It was pretty much our busiest year ever and everyone here went above and beyond so our customers could enjoy their gardens during this difficult year."

From the nominator: "When quarantine hit, Napa Aerial was shut down along with most other gyms. With the unknown nature of it all, there was thought that maybe the final chapter of NAF had been written and titled COVID wins. But the owner Kat Martucci and her amazing staff weren’t quite ready to give up, and just like they teach to us, it was time to push through the hard parts and end up stronger. They worked incredibly hard to transform the studio into a covid friendly space and focus meticulously on the students' health and safety. Not only was it important to save the business for their own interest, but saving the studio was saving all of us. The students see aerial as an escape and a spark of light that we needed to get us through the new way life has been unfolding. The studio offers classes in silks, hammock and Lyra for all ages. Not only is aerial art a way to get our bodies out of the COVID funk, but it is a way to express through movement. The studio is struggling financially like many small businesses currently, but in an effort to make a dent at paying off the debt accrued during shu down, there will be a virtual show in January in which ticket sales will fundraise. Napa Aerial Fit saved my mental and emotional health through all of this chaos in the world, it gave me somewhere to go where I felt safe and could have something to focus on progressing with. With all the unknown around us, we need businesses like this to motivate and ground us. It would have been easier for NAF to give up after that first month of closure and not knowing how to pay the rent, but it was important not to, to prove to us all that we can persevere and grow stronger no matter what."

I have never felt as safe in a store, they are in front to give you a clean cart, bottled water and maintain the number of people in the store at a time. Once inside, the employees are always around to assist you."
