Did Republican challenger Scott Giblin unseat Democrat incumbent U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson?

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA — The polls — and ballot boxes — are now officially closed for the 2020 presidential election. Among the races voters in Napa Valley, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Benicia, Martinez, Hercules and Pinole decided was whom should represent them in U.S. Congress District 5.
Republican Challenger Scott Giblin sought to unseat Democrat incumbent U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson.
However, Thompson (D-St. Helena) appears to have won his 12th term in Congress by garnering 78.6 percent of the votes to Giblin's 21.4 percent, according to unofficial election night results.
