1 Dead After Being Struck By Amtrak Train In North Hollywood
A person died after they were hit by an oncoming Amtrack Pacific Surfliner passenger train.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — One person died Saturday after they were struck by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner passenger train, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision occurred at 9:07 a.m. near the 7100 block of Lankershim Boulevard, where the person — who has not been identified — was found dead on or near the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported aboard the train, LAFD officials wrote in a statement.
