
The driver in a car crash that killed five young adults in September was drunk behind the wheel according to a toxicology report, the Burbank Leader reports.
Stephen Stoll, 23, had a blood alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit during the early morning hours of Sept. 27 when he was driving a Nissan Altima, lost control and crashed into concrete at the Scott Road offramp on the Golden State (5) Freeway.
Malik Hariri, Sebastian Forero, Sameer Nevarez and Sugey Cuevas were also killed in the crash. There was one survivor, Savannah Underwood, who was hospitalized with a broken leg.Â
