Alleged Serial Robber Sought for North Hollywood, South Bay Crimes

Detectives from the Carson sheriff's station asked for the public's help Monday in locating an allegedly prolific robbery suspect who is considered armed and dangerous.

Detectives have obtained a felony arrest warrant for Joseph Fred Clark, 44, who is wanted in connection with a series of convenience store robberies that occurred between Oct. 12-14 in Carson and in unincorporated areas of Harbor City and Torrance. He is also a suspect in store robberies that occurred in North Hollywood and Glendale.

Clark is described as white and 6 feet, 3 inches tall, with tattoos covering both of his arms.

He was allegedly armed with a handgun during some of the heists and is considered armed and dangerous, according to detectives, who asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call the watch commander at the Carson Station at (310) 830-1123.
