Body Found In Flaming Trash Container In North Hollywood

LAFD responded to a call about a trash container on fire, and found a body inside after extinguishing the flames.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A body was found in a large trash container that had been set on fire in North Hollywood Wednesday night.

Crews from Los Angeles Fire Department were called to 7400 Coldwater Canyon Ave. around 6 p.m., where a large trash container was on fire.

“Upon extinguishing the flames, firefighters located a deceased body inside the container,” said Margaret Stewart of LAFD.

LAFD Arson was investigating the incident in tandem with the Los Angeles Police Department. Details about the victim or potential suspects were not released.
