Bridge Demolition Set For 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard
Burbank Boulevard will be closed in both direction from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Jan. 15.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Demolition of the Burbank Boulevard bridge exit at the 170 freeway is set to begin Monday night. Burbank Boulevard will be closed in both directions while crews complete the work, which will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Detours and adjacent re-routing will be marked, according to CalTrans. Emergency vehicles will still be able to access Burbank Boulevard.
The work is part of the SR-170 soundwall project, which aims to soundproof the freeway to give limit the amount of freeway noise passed to nearby residents.
