Popular furniture retailer Ikea won approval from the Burbank Planning Board Tuesday to expand in the city, though a final vote from the Burbank City Council still awaits, the Burbank Leader reports.
Opened in 1990, the Burbank location seeks to nearly double its size to meet demand. Doing so would require to relocate to a 23-acre lot located at 805 S. San Fernando Blvd., according to the Leader.
