Car Catches On Fire In Four-Car Crash On 5 Freeway
The four-car collision caused a traffic backup to Riverside Drive.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A four-car traffic crash that started a car fire is currently slowing traffic on the northbound 5 freeway. The crash took place around 2:12 p.m. near Empire Drive, according to California Highway Patrol.
An initial report said four cars were involved in a crash in the leftmost lane and that a Nissan Sentra caught on fire. An ambulance and two tow trucks were sent to the scene to treat for injuries and remove the vehicles.
