Car Fire In Progress Along Southbound 170 Freeway
A Dodge Ram caught on fire near an off-ramp, requiring a response from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A car fire has been reported along the southbound 170 freeway in North Hollywood. The fire was reported at the Burbank Boulevard off-ramp at 11:38 a.m.
California Highway Patrol said a Dodge Ram pickup truck was spotted with its engine on fire. The driver managed to get out of the car and was standing next to it according to CHP.
Los Angeles Fire Department sent a truck to the scene to put out the flames. Drivers should avoid the area until the fire is extinguished.
