Cause Of Death For Toluca Lake Model Remains A Mystery

TOLUCA LAKE, CA — A determination of what killed former actress and model Kim Porter, who was found dead at her Toluca Lake home, was deferred Monday pending further investigation, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

The 47-year-old Porter, who had three children with rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, was found dead Friday.

Rescuers were sent about 11:30 a.m. Friday to the 10300 block of Woodbridge Street, where Porter was found unresponsive, according to police and the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Porter was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:40 a.m., the coroner's office reported.

Police and firefighters responded to a cardiac arrest call at the home, according to TMZ, which reported that Porter had been suffering flu-like symptoms and possibly pneumonia.

Although her cause of death remains undetermined, Porter's body has been released, according to the coroner's office.
