Look, there on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Louise Avenue in Encino, he's doing his manic dance. He's slinging his sign.

Stan Alpert, of North Hollywood, is a career advertising man. He's been in the business for seven years, he says. And he currently spins for L.A. Advertizing.

As an advertising man, he deals with all kinds of people: drivers, pedestrians, and the folks who hold conversations with themselves.

"One homeless guy said to stop spinning," Alpert told Patch. "I said, 'Why?'"

"You're making me crazy," was the reply.

Indeed.
