What used to be a dog house for celebrity canine trainer Cesar Milan's empire has been repurposed--for number crunchers.
The unmistakable castle-shaped building at Burbank Boulevard and Satsuma Avenue once housed operations for the Dog Whisperer, but a "for sale" was hung outside late last year. Millan, Inc. has since relocated to Burbank.
Passing by the other day, I noticed ladders and paint buckets everywhere, indicating a remodel.
I chatted with one of the workers who said that the building has a new owner and that it would soon house financial offices.
So there might not be a new celebrity in the neighborhood, but at least that whimsical structure is getting a touch-up.
