Fire at Sun Valley Fourplex Extinguished

A fire burned the rear unit of a one-story, residential fourplex in Sun Valley Sunday, a firefighter said.

Crews were dispatched at 1:22 p.m. to 10938 Strathern St. and had the fire out within 13 minutes of their arrival, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, Humphrey said.

A cause of the fire and damage estimates were under investigation.
