Halloween Horror Nights Opens At Universal Studios Hollywood
Ready to have the wits scared out of you? Chucky, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface are waiting!

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – It's only September, but Halloween season will be in full swing Friday evening when Universal Studios Hollywood opens its annual Halloween Horror Nights attraction, featuring a revamped array of goosebump- inducing walk-through mazes based on horror classics from the big and small screens.
This year's lineup of mazes includes "The Horrors of Blumhouse," with characters and scenes inspired by the films of Jason Blum, including "The Purge," the "Sinister" franchise and the upcoming "Happy Death Day."
Other attractions are based on the classic thriller "The Shining," the "SAW" film series and the television series "American Horror Story: Roanoke," "The Walking Dead" and "Ash vs. Evil Dead."

Halloween Horror Nights will also feature a "Titans of Terror" attraction, featuring horror film legends Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface. The Universal Studios famed tram tour will also get a horror face lift as it becomes the "Titans of Terror Tram: Hosted by Chucky," the serial killer doll from the "Child's Play" film series.
Blum will be among a host of celebrities expected to visit the attraction on opening night, along with horror film stars such as Tobin Bell, Leigh Whanell, Jennifer Tilly and Betty Gabriel. Tom Payne and Emily Kinney of "The Walking Dead" are also expected to attend, along with musician Slash and actors David Arquette, Guillermo Diaz and Vanessa Hudgens.

The Halloween Horror Nights attractionwill continue on select nights through Nov. 4: Sept. 15-16, 22-23, 28-30; Oct. 1, 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 25-29, 31; and Nov. 2-4.
