Major Closure Planned Near 170 Freeway
Road work will yield a new carpool and truck lane.
A major overnight closure is planned where the Golden State (5) Freeway and the Hollywood (170) Freeway meet through Thursday, the Daily News reports.
The southbound 5 will be closed at midnight to 4 a.m. at its juncture with the 170 for a widening project to install a new carpool lane and truck lane.
