Man Barricades Himself Into North Hollywood Home For Five Hours
The lengthy drama ended with an arrest after 2:00 a.m.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man who barricaded himself into someone else's North Hollywood home Wednesday night was safely taken into custody around 2 a.m. Thursday morning. The lengthy ordeal stemmed from a 911 call around 9.m. from a house in the 6600 block of Alcove Avenue, William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Callers said the man was armed with knives and violated a restraining order when he broke into the home. Cooper said the residents escaped without harm, and that police set up a perimeter around the home to make contact with the suspect.
The man eventually surrendered around 2:05 a.m. according to LAPD. No injuries were reported.
