Man Injured In Gang-Related Van Nuys Shooting

The shooting occurred early Sunday, when a black Honda approached the victim and someone inside fired several shots at him, police said.

VAN NUYS, CA — A man in his 30s was wounded during a gang-related shooting attack Sunday morning in Van Nuys, officials said.

Paramedics took him to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, said Officer Jason Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The shooting occurred at 5:52 a.m. in the 6600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, where a black Honda approached the victim and someone inside fired several shots at him, Lee said.
