BURBANK, CA — A winning lottery ticket was sold in Burbank Tuesday, making someone nearly a million dollars. La Paz Liquor on Magnolia Boulevard sold a lottery ticket with five matching numbers, for a grand total of $926,572.
Winning numbers for Tuesday's draw were 12, 14, 26, 28 and 33, with a Mega bonus of 9.
The winning ticket missed out on the $625 million jackpot since they didn't have the Mega bonus, but there were 527,357 tickets that won at least $2. 15 people had a ticket with 4 matching numbers and the mega bonus, earning each of them $8,558.

According to the California Lottery, a person has a 1 in 302,575,350 chance of winning the mega millions jackpot. The next draw will be held on Friday, January 15.
