A male motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a crash in Sun Valley.
The crash in the area of Valerio Street and Tujunga Avenue just north of Sherman Way was reported just before 6 p.m., said an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division.
The rider was struck by a pickup truck whose driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, the officer said, adding that the call originally came in as hit and run.
