NoHo Neighborhood Council To Host Election Forum Tonight

How well do you know your neighborhood council candidates? Here's your chance to learn more about their platforms.

How well do you know your North Hollywood Neighborhood Council candidates? If you're unsure of who's running or what they hope to accomplish, you might want to tune into tonight's council meeting to get a closer look.

The Noho Neighborhood Council will hold an Election Candidate Forum at 7 p.m., where candidates can discuss their platform and answer questions from the audience. The Zoom link is available here.

Residents who want to vote must first determine their district, as determined by this map of the North Hollywood area boundaries. Those who live and work in different areas within North Hollywood must choose one location for voting.

Voters should then register for a ballot at the vote-by-mail application portal, and submit documentation validating their stake in the community.

Elections this year will be held entirely by mail due to the pandemic. Voters must request their ballot by May 4, and return the completed ballot by May 11. Ballots should be dropped off at the official drop box at North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Library, which is at 5211 Tujunga Ave.
