NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A high-energy sushi bar known for unique rolls, sake bombs & vibrant performances by its servers has been closed by the Los Angeles County Public Health Department due to a health hazard, the department said.

Tokyo Delve's, located on Lanskershim Boulevard in North Hollywood was closed on Jan. 30 due to a lack of hot water and currently remains closed, according to the health dept.

It was one of six eateries throughout the county that had their health certificate suspended and was closed between mid-January and Feb. 2, the health dept. said.

Food facilities whose permits are suspended must close until another inspection determines the problems have been fixed. Closures can occur during routine and owner-initiated inspections, complaint investigations and re-inspections.

Four of the other five restaurants that were shuttered were due to cockroaches and the other was for no hot water. The restaurants are: The Dish Thai Fusion Cuisine in Studio City; Coco Hut Thai Restaurant in Pacoima; and three Van Nuys eateries: Golden Sky, Fruteria Juice and Quickie Mini Market. Fruteria Juice was the other restaurant, besides Tokyo Delve's that was shut due to a lack of hot water.
