Pedestrian Killed While Trying To Cross 134 Freeway

CHP said the man was hit by several cars while running across the freeway Tuesday evening.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was struck and killed by multiple vehicles while attempting to cross the 134 Freeway Tuesday night. The incident took place at about 7:50 p.m. along the eastbound 134 Freeway, just east of the 170 Freeway.

California Highway Patrol received reports of a person running across the four lane freeway, according to Officer Stephan Brandt. That person was hit by several cars in the number one lane, and died at the scene.

Officers shut down lanes on the freeway while they investigated. All lanes were reopened by 11:55 p.m.
