A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Sunday on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley and then fled the location.
SUN VALLEY, CA — A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Sunday on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley and then fled the location.
The death was reported at 12:23 a.m. and occurred on the southbound freeway, north of Lankershim Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP's Altadena office urged anyone with any information regarding the crash to call them at 626-296-8100.
