Plane Skids Off Runway At Van Nuys Airport
The incident briefly shut down the runway at Van Nuys Airport Monday Night.
VAN NUYS, CA — A small plane skidded off a runway Monday at Van Nuys Airport, but no one was injured.
A Cessna veered off the side of Runway 16 R, airport officials reported at 6:55 p.m. The runway was closed for about 45 minutes while the aircraft was moved.
The plane sustained undisclosed damage, according to the airport's Twitter account.
