Rob Reischak Set Release the New Single 'Cactus'
Acclaimed Brazilian Guitarist's New Release is a Precursor to His Upcoming Solo Album Releasing This Summer!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Acclaimed guitarist Rob Reischak is preparing to release “Cactus,” his newest single, just ahead of his upcoming solo album. The new single will be available on May 4.
“I’m super stoked about this new single and share my musical vision with fans,” Reischak said. “It’s been on the making for a while and I really feel now it’s the time to put it out there.”
Stepping away from his role as a session guitarist and also lead guitarist for Vaud and the Villains, Reischak gets back his rock and rhythm and blues roots with “Cactus,” a rock ballad with a definitive country and western feel. It features Reischak on guitar in a song that was inspired by his personal musical journey of building a career in Brazil then deciding to come to the U.S. and take on new challenges.

Reischak’s new single comes ahead of his debut solo album which will be released this summer. Besides Vaud and the Villains, the rocker has also worked with Steve Vai, Cristian Castro, Natalia Jimenez, Glennellen, singer/songwriter Alexandria Corn, the keyboardist Henry Soleh Brewer (Earth, Wind & Fire) and many others.
“I always have a great time with Vaud and the Villains and they’ve built up a great fan base along the years, so it’s great when we go out on tour so we can see the fans and interact with them, Reischak said. “As a solo artist I don’t really have to be restricted to one genre of music. It gives me freedom to do whatever I want. With the band we usually write knowing we have a more specific niche and genre.”

The veteran guitarist has been the focus of much attention in recent years, thanks to his unique melodic stylings that blend, pop, rock, jazz and rhythm and blues which have earned him legions of new fans along with accolades and acclaim.
Born in Porto Alegre, in Brazil’s Southern region, Reischak earned a reputation for his imaginative riffs and solos while performing with a number of bands and artists, both on stage and in the recording studio before moving to the U.S. and making his mark with Vaud and the Villains and many other artists.
“I’ve accomplished so much the last couple years and I can’t really complain at all. Besides playing for so many great established artists, and also up-and-coming singer/songwriters, also playing alongside the best musicians in LA, I definitely had some of the biggest highlights in my career when in 2018 I had the great honor to work for one of my biggest heroes – three-time Grammy Award winner and 15-time nominee, guitar god Steve Vai.”
As he continues to work on his upcoming album, Reischak is also gearing up to tour with Vaud and the Villains this summer.
