Southwest Airlines System Outage Causes Issues At Burbank Airport
Hollywood Burbank Airport said customers should allow extra time to check-in due to the delays.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A Southwest Airlines system outage caused problems for passengers at the Hollywood Burbank Airport Wednesday morning. The airport reported many Southwest passengers were subject to delays and should allow extra time for check-in.
The airline also reported system issues at Orlando International Airport, forcing passengers to be checked in manually. It wasn't clear how widespread the outage was, although Southwest was forced to remove certain flights in order to iron out the issues.
Customers in St. Louis also reported problems on Twitter.
