Two Lanes On 170 South Closed For Soundwall Work
The closure affected drivers in the North Hollywood area and was expected to last through the afternoon.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Two lanes on the southbound 170 freeway was closed Friday morning, while crews worked on the outer soundwall. The closure affected the freeway in the North Hollywood area from Victory Boulevard to Riverside Drive / Tujunga Avenue.
CalTrans estimated the repairs would be completed by 3 p.m. Three lanes remained available for use while crews worked on the sound wall.
The CalTrans live traffic map showed significant traffic from Victory Boulevard to Chandler Boulevard as of 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
