What Do You Think Of Planned NoHo To Pasadena Transit Corridor?
The proposed 18 mile project would serve North Hollywood, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock and Pasadena.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Metro wants to make it easier for Valley residents to move around in their communities. The department wants your input on the NoHo to Pasadena Transit Corridor Project, which would run 18 miles and connect to the Metro Red, Orange and Gold lines.
The project would serve North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock and Pasadena, and aims to rival the speed, capacity and comfort of high-quality rail lines.
Metro will hold a virtual meeting on both Thursday and Saturday where residents can voice their thoughts on the plan. Thursday's meeting will run from 6-8 p.m., while Saturday's will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Both meetings will be held on Zoom.
"The area between North Hollywood and Pasadena is one of the most heavily traveled corridors in L.A. County without premium transit service," said Lilian De Loza Gutierrez with Metro Communications."

According to Metro, Bus Rapid Transit is faster and more reliable than regular bus service. The program aims to improve access to jobs, schools and recreation with well-placed destinations and a larger transit network.
