Where To Get Free Groceries In North Hollywood This Weekend

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — The NoHo Home Alliance will host another free produce giveaway Saturday morning for those in need of fresh food to put in the fridge. "NoHo Free Market" will run from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, located at 11031 Camarillo St.

The event will be held through a partnership with the Los Angeles Food Bank and Cal Fresh. Food giveaways take place on the third Saturday of every month.

"The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, in collaboration with CalFresh Healthy Living and NoHo Home Alliance invite the community to participate in the Food for Thought Produce Pick-up," organizers said said. "Drive-thru and walkups are welcome."

Attendees should enter through the alley on Camarillo Street. Masks and social distancing are still required.

NoHo Home Alliance was founded in 2016, and works to address homelessness, food insecurity and other social issues in the San Fernando Valley. Community members can go to www.nohohome.org to learn more.
