New Magnet School in Chatsworth!

Chatsworth Park Elementary has exciting to news to share! For the school year 2019-2020, Chatsworth Park Elementary will become Chatsworth Park Urban Planning/Community Development Magnet School for grades kindergarten-5th!

You may be wondering… What is urban planning? Urban planning is creating communities of lasting value. It provides a vision for our community today and what we will want it to be in the future. Chatsworth Park magnet students will be engaged in a unique project-based curriculum that is focused on land use, water, conservation, resilience, open space, and community assets. This is an amazing opportunity to teach our children to THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL!

Interested in learning more about our new magnet? School tours begin after Labor Day, every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. The application window will only be open from early October to mid-November for the next school year.
