SAN RAFAEL, CA ? Two people aboard a distressed vessel in the San Pablo Bay were rescued earlier this week amid a powerful winter storm, San Rafael police said.
No injuries were reported.
A rapid response boat was summoned Wednesday morning on the report of the distressed vessel that collided with the rock levy at the entrance of San Rafael Creek after the boat lost power and was adrift, police said.

?The furious storm continued to batter the vessel, placing the crew and environment at risk,? the agency wrote on its Facebook page.
?Ranger Hedeen expertly navigated the shallow waters for a safe approach. The distressed vessel was eventually towed to a safe location. None of her occupants required medical attention.?
