San Marin High Arests Reap Reflections Honors

San Marin High School's Samantha Urban and Jacob Mason won Blue Ribbon Wins in the Visual Arts and Special Artist categories in this year's Reflections Arts Program sponsored by the California State PTA. 

"They each captured the theme of 'The Magic of a Moment'  wonderfully and were judged to be among the Best of Show at our Gallery Display at the NUSD this month," said Lara Eisenbarth, 16th District PTA Reflections Chair.

Now these two entries move forward to State level for judging display at the CA State PTA Convention in San Jose on May 2-5, 2013. Winners at the State level move on to the National level in Washington, DC. 

All entries in Visual Arts and Photography categories by students in grades K-12 from all the Novato schools, including a photograph by San Marin senior Julia Raven, were on display through January at the NUSD office.
