Credit Union's Novato Branch Launches Food and Toy Drive

NOVATO, CA - Redwood Credit Union has launched a holiday food and toy drive at its Novato branch, located at 1010 Grant Ave., through Dec. 9.

The branch is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for distribution to individuals and families in need this holiday season. Toy donations will benefit Ritter Center’s Holiday Toy Store program, while food donations benefit the SF-Marin Food Bank.

“We are happy to once again offer RCU’s Marin county branches as convenient collection sites for food and toy donations to help those in need this holiday season,” Novato Branch Manager, Richard De Ramon said.

All of the credit union’s branch locations are sponsoring holiday toy and food drives benefiting a variety of community nonprofit agencies. A complete list is available at www.redwoodcu.org/holidaygiving.

Redwood Credit Union is based in Santa Rosa and has branches in the Marin County cities of Novato and San Marin. It offers financial, volunteer and leadership support to a variety of local nonprofit organizations and community efforts on a continuing basis, including SchoolsRule Marin, and the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership.
