Fire at Novato Car Dealership Being Investigated As Arson

Novato police are investigating a fire that burned several vehicles at a car dealership late Monday night as an arson.

Novato police and firefighters responded around 11:35 p.m. to a report of a vegetation fire in the 7100 block of Redwood Boulevard, police Sgt. Sasha D’Amico said.

They found several vehicles in flames in the parking lot of Novato Chevrolet at 7123 Redwood Blvd., D’Amico said.

Investigators found evidence the fire was deliberately set, D’Amico said. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Novato police at (415) 897-4361.
