Hazardous Material​ Investigation Closes Novato Street
Police and firefighters in Novato investigated a report of a hazardous material in a vehicle on San Marin Drive on Wednesday.

NOVATO, CA — All lanes of San Marin Drive in Novato have reopened following a hazardous materials incident, Novato police said around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Police and firefighters with the Novato Fire District responded to a report of a hazardous material in a vehicle. Eastbound lanes of San Marin Drive were closed around 2:30 p.m. just west of Redwood Boulevard to vehicles and pedestrians.
Police said the incident was not a threat to public safety.
