Highway 121 Blocked In All Lanes After Accident In Sonoma County
Highway 121 remains blocked Saturday afternoon after an overturned tractor trailer caused injuries and shut down traffic in both directions.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Traffic on Highway 121 remains blocked in both directions Saturday afternoon after a tractor trailer overturned near Sears Point, causing injuries.
The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m., when the truck, headed north along Highway 121 north of Highway 37, took a curve too tightly, hit a guardrail and flipped, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The tanker was punctured and leaked fuel, according to the CHP. Hazmat crews were called to the scene.

As of 3:30 p.m., traffic remained closed between Highway 37 and Cline Cellars. Drivers are advised to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
