Jersey Mike's Raises Nearly $35K For CA Firefighters' Association
The chain's "Month of Giving" in March culminated with a "Day of Giving" at 12 restaurants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

BAY AREA, CA – The 12 Jersey Mike's Subs franchises in the San Francisco Bay Area raised a collective $34,842 for the California State Firefighters’ Association during the chain's 9th Annual “Month of Giving” in March.
During the monthlong fundraiser, customers were invited to donate to Firefighters’ Associationwhen they stopped by the restaurants, and on March 27, 100 percent of the day’s sales went to the organization that serves such needs of all state firefighters as benefits, working conditions and public-safety issues.
Nationwide, the 2019 Jersey Mike's effort raised a record amount of more than $7.3 million, according to management.

“I would like to thank our extraordinary customers, franchise owners, team members and charity partners who helped us raise the most ever during Jersey Mike’s 9th Annual Month of Giving in March,” said Peter Cancro, founder and CEO of Jersey Mike’s, a New Jersey-based sandwich chain, founded in the 1950s.
“Our mission statement has always been focused on making a difference in people’s lives, and the record-setting amount raised this March will go a long way toward supporting the good work of our local partner charities.”
