On June 16, 2018, MarinMOCA opens “Make Your Mark,” an exhibition of work by artists who explore making marks in unique ways. The exhibit commemorates MarinMOCA’s 35th year of bringing contemporary art to the North Bay. “Make Your Mark” also continues our series of National Juried exhibits that give artists from across the country the opportunity to show their work in a professional museum setting while giving visitors the opportunity to see artworks by American artists. “Make Your Mark” was juried by Jen Tough of Jen Tough Gallery in Benicia, CA. The exhibit features 45 artists who put down marks using a variety of media to create abstract or representational imagery. From delicate ink drawings to bold and expressive painting, we invite the public to experience this outstanding exhibit of mark-making by national artists. Museum Hours: Wed-Fri, 11am - 4pm and Sat-Sun 11am - 5pm. This exhibit is free to the public.
