Missing Novato Man Sought

NOVATO, CA ? Authorities are asking for the public?s help locating a missing Novato man, police said.

Mark Donald Bretan, 32, hasn?t been seen since he left his residence without his phone to go jogging Monday, the Novato Police Department said.

Bretan suffers from mental health issues and his whereabouts and destination were unknown as of late Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Anyone who normally walks or jogs the trails in Novato is asked to call the Novato Police Department immediately if they see Bretan.

Police are also asking residents of the Highland Drive/Claire Court area to check their surveillance cameras for any footage of Bretan at around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
