New Single "Fire Inside" Released by Novato Rock Band, Ridgway

Young rock band busy writing original tunes with a catchy beat

Young, gritty and fiery, Bay Area rock band, Ridgway, is excited to announce the release of their new single, Fire Inside, from their soon to be released album, Brighter Days. Fans can hear it at www.Ridgwayband.com or view the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvjyQQ8OeJc

Consistent with the band’s optimistic vibe, Fire Inside, doesn’t disappoint with its upbeat tempo and inspirational lyrics.

Fire Inside is all about perseverance and pushing through, even through the real tough times,” says Forrest Bousquette, lyricist and lead singer. “I try to be as visual as possible when I write. Fire burns bright and fierce. The message is to never give up what you’re passionate about. It’s actually a very personal song to me.”

The band was originally called Ridgway Space Station but recently shortened its name to Ridgway claiming that no on could remember the name. “Space Station what?!” They decided to make it simpler.

“We began with the idea of forming a simple reggae band but, given our different backgrounds and musical influences, we incorporated many genres of music: rock, reggae, hip-hop, tasteful metal and pop,” says Jack Buzian, lead guitarist. “We take great pride in writing and performing original songs. But at our shows we also cover tunes by Sublime, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rebelution and 311.”

Ridgway will be performing live on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Hopmonk Tavern in Novato at 7pm. One Sharp Mind will be the opening act at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $10 dollars each and the show is open to all ages.

Band request? “Our only request is that you come close to the stage and dance. We are super friendly! Help us bring in the new year.”
